Through Wheelnutz Garage, she has pioneered a highly innovative program that not only supports individuals in the disability sector but also addresses mental health challenges and promotes social inclusion in the automotive industry. Operating across Logan and Brisbane, Wheelnutz Garage offers an award-winning program that supports people with autism, intellectual disabilities, and acquired brain injuries, helping them develop critical employment skills and pathways to future opportunities. The garage serves as a unique learning space where individuals can engage in hands-on, practical training while fostering a sense of community and purpose. With over two decades of experience in the human services sector, Jade has worked across mental health, addiction, youth, family, and child protection practice. Her commitment to innovative and inclusive practices within the NDIS environment has earned her widespread recognition, including prestigious awards such as the Autism Queensland Recognition Award, the Logan Business Distinction in Inclusiveness Award, and the Brisbane Disability Leadership Award. Jade continues to be a strong advocate for mental health, disability inclusion, and creating meaningful employment opportunities, and her work remains highly regarded not just in the disability sector, but also in the mental health and automotive industries.
