Freya Lingard

Freya is a Human Factors Consultant at Ergonomie, with a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Forensic Mental Health. She has a strong interest in mental well-being and has been involved in Ergonomie’s virtual reality suicide prevention training program since 2020. Freya has contributed to the research, design, and testing of the VR training used to equip rail staff with the skills to identify and respond to suicidal behaviours. She is also the author of a piece on trauma-informed approaches to suicide prevention, published by Suicide Prevention Australia. Freya is passionate about applying human-centred design to develop meaningful, evidence-based interventions that support real-world change.
