Kylie Druett

Kylie Druett, is a registered psychologist and the Assistant Director of Mental Health Programs working for the Department of Defence, in this role she oversees the development, implementation, evaluation and governance of national mental health project and initiatives that build capability within Defence health systems to promote mental wellbeing and initiatives that support members. She has clinical experience working in the areas of suicide prevention, domestic violence, drug and alcohol, mental health, and child protection services within NSW Health. As a core member of the Defence SafeSide team, she has been instrumental in driving organisational practice change and developing a whole-of-system response to individuals experiencing challenges. In addition to her professional work, Kylie is a dedicated advocate for families who have experienced a domestic violence homicide or been bereaved by these tragedies, after she was personally impacted in 2017. In 2021, she was recognised as a Local Hero by Blacktown Council for her efforts in these areas. Her expertise and passion make her a valuable contributor to the suicide prevention community.
