Jorgen Gullestrup
Dr Jorgen Gullestrup is Chief Executive Officer of MATES in Construction and has worked in workplace suicide prevention for more than two decades. A former plumber and union organiser, Jorgen has played a leading role in the development and expansion of the MATES model across Australia and internationally. His PhD research explored the role of relationships, social identity and social networks in workplace suicide prevention, with a particular focus on how communities mobilise to support people in distress.
