Julie Levin

Julie is a lived experience practitioner. After her experience of post natal mental health challenges and her own subsequent recovery, Julie became passionate about advocating for and supporting women experiencing perinatal mental health challenges. She has qualifications in both Mental health and Peer support and works as a peer practitioner within the mental health sector. She is determined to embed Lived Experience into all facets of mental health care in a meaningful way, thus allowing for person-centred recovery. Julie is actively involved in policy and decision-making and works to advocate for the development of strategies to improve mental health service delivery.
